Virtual Panel Discussion: Key Highlights
To commemorate World Food Day, the FAR-LeaF Food Security Cluster is organizing a virtual panel discussion on October 16, 2025. Esteemed experts from diverse areas such as agriculture, consumer science, environmental geography, plant breeding, and social science will come together to discuss ways their collaborative expertise can enhance food production, ensure equitable access, and promote environmental sustainability.
Innovations for Sustainable Outcomes
The panel will showcase how both biophysical innovations—such as advanced plant varieties and urine fertilizer—and social innovations, including behavioral changes, waste prevention, and community empowerment, can complement each other towards achieving sustainable results.
